Con Edison President Matthew Ketschke joined “Mornings On 1” Tuesday as thousands of customers across the city remain without power.

This week’s heat wave put strain on the electrical grid, leaving more than 2,000 customers still without power on Tuesday, with the majority of outages occurring in Queens and Brooklyn.

Ketschke discussed ongoing restoration efforts, the impact of extreme heat on the grid and how crews are working to bring service back.
