CHARLOTTE, N.C. – NBA All-Star weekend is officially over fans will be heading home Monday.

It’s been a jam packed weekend with events across the Queen City, including at the EpiCentre, Bojangles Coliseum and of course the Spectrum Center fans were pretty pleased Charlotte's festivities.

 

 

 
Team LeBron took home trophy last night at the all-star game, defeating Team Giannis 178 to 164. Both teams featured 24 of the NBA’s best players from both the Eastern and Western conferences.

All-Star MVP Kevin Durant scored a 31-point game. Klay Thompson had 20 points and LeBron scored 19 for his team.

For Team Giannis, he scored 38 points, Khris Middleton had 20 points and Stephen Curry had 17.

Before the game, there were plenty of events, pop-up shops and parties around Uptown. People we spoke to visiting from out of town said Charlotte did a good job with the variety of activities for people to choose from -- whether it was shopping for sneakers or practicing their dunks in the EpiCentre.

For those fans who may already be planning for next year, All-Star Weekend will be in Chicago. For the people here at home, roads are back open today around the Spectrum Center.The light rail and buses are also running on their regular routes and locations.
