RALEIGH, N.C. -- Plenty of rain fell across the region Friday, the good news about that is that it got the salt off your car!

  • Scattered expected Saturday
  • Periods of light rain and drizzle throughout the day
  • Dry weather for the first half of the work week

The rain overnight will taper off to scattered showers by sunrise and Saturday will be cloudy with periods of light rain and drizzle. Look for Saturday to be mild with highs through the 50s and around 60 in the Sandhills.

Sunday may start off with a shower as a system passes by to our north, but most of the day will be dry with highs mostly in the mid 50s.

Dry weather is in the forecast for the first half of the work week with rain back in the forecast for Thursday and Friday.
