ORLANDO, Fla. -- Walt Disney World is offering special discounts to members of the U.S. military in 2019.

  • Disney offering ticket, hotel dicounts to U.S. military members 
  • 4-day, 5-day park hopper tickets availabe at special price
  • Special rates also available at select Disney World hotels

Starting January 1, service members can purchase specially-priced Park Hopper tickets, which allow multiple visits to Disney parks in one day. The 4-day ticket costs $241 (regular prices range from $446 to $508), while the 5-day ticket costs $257 (regular prices range from $463 to $526).

Disney is also offering a Park Hopper Plus option with the tickets for an additional $50. The "plus" option also allows visits to other Disney World attractions, including the water parks and miniature golf courses.

The tickets, which can be purchased at participating military ticket sales offices, must be used by December 19. There is a limit of six tickets per service member.

Special rates are also being offered to service members at select Disney World Resort hotels. The offer is valid for most stays from January 1 through April 13 and April 26 through December 19.

The ticket and hotel discounts are available to active duty or retired members of the U.S. military, including the National Guard, U.S. Coast Guard, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service, Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and reservists. Spouses of qualified military service members are also eligible for the discounts in the absence of the service member.
