In addition to previously announced offerings such as an adults-only Star Wars lounge and the first Disney attraction at sea, the Disney Wish will also feature an “Inside Out”-themed dessert shop, an entertainment hub and a sports arena.

For those with a sweet tooth, the ship will have Inside Out: Joyful Sweets. The shop will serve about 40 flavors of ice cream and gelato as well as signature treats inspired by characters from the 2015 Pixar film.

The ship’s theater venue, called Luna, will serve as an entertainment hub, offering a variety of live shows. The theater will have a two-story LED screen wall, a stage and a bar. Some of the live shows set for the venue include “Villains Game Night,” a trivia game show with Cruella de Vil, Hades and others; “Disney Songbook,” a talent show; and a special final for the Disney Uncharted Adventure game.

Also announced for the ship is Hero Zone, a “futuristic” sports arena with activities themed to “The Incredibles.” The venue will offer the Incredible-Games game show, where guests can participate in physical challenges, and Jack-Jack’s Incredible Diaper Dash.

“Family is at the heart of everything we do,” Walt Disney Imagineering’s Laura Cabo said in a news release. “When we set out to design the next generation of Disney cruise ships, we wanted to provide families with more opportunities than ever to make lasting memories together and to experience Disney storytelling in completely new ways.”

The Disney Wish, originally set to debut in June, will begin its maiden voyage July 14.

The ship is the first of three new class of ships coming to the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Each of the ships will be powered by liquefied natural gas.
