ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando has updated its vaccination policy again and will no longer require employees to undergo weekly COVID-19 testing if they are unvaccinated.

A Universal spokesperson confirmed the change with Spectrum News on Friday.

The decision comes just days after the Supreme Court struck down OSHA's mandate that required large companies to require employees to be vaccinated or undergo weekly testing and wear a mask.

Universal's previous policy, which was sent out to employees early last week, said that all employees would be required to be fully vaccinated by Feb. 9 or undergo weekly testing.

At the time, Universal officials said they would "monitor legal action involving these regulations" and "adapt accordingly."

Universal employees, however, are still required to share their vaccination status with the company.
