ORLANDO, Florida — Hurricane Leslie has become post-tropical in the far eastern Atlantic, slamming into Portugal and Spain.

The final advisory has Leslie still with winds of 70 mph. It continues to race into the Iberian Peninsula at 35 mph.

Leslie is located about 125 miles north of Lisbon, Portugal.

Gusty winds, heavy rainfall and large swell will impact Portugal and parts of Spain tonight and early Sunday.

It is still expected to dissipate over northern Spain later on Sunday.

Elsewhere in the Atlantic, there are no other concerns at this time. Next week will likely feature quiet conditions in the Gulf, Caribbean and the open waters of the Atlantic.

Hurricane season runs through November 30. ​
