ORLANDO, Fla. — Veterans Day is Friday, and some attractions in and around the Central Florida will be offering deals to honor veterans and active duty members of the military.

The deals range from free admission to discounts on tickets.

Most businesses require proof such as a valid military ID to receive the deals.

Dezerland Action Park

Active and retired military members can get free entry to the Orlando Auto Museum on Veterans Day. Guests accompanying military members can purchase tickets for 50% off.

ICON Park

Veterans and first responders can get a free ride on The Wheel on Friday and up to 50% off one guest ticket. Active duty military can receive up to four complimentary tickets for The Wheel.

Other attractions at ICON Park offering discounts include Madame Tussauds Orlando, Sea Life Aquarium and Museum of Illusions Orlando.

Several restaurants are also offering military discounts, including Brother Jimmy’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Ole Red, and Tin Roof.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

The visitor complex is offering veterans, active-duty military and reserve military free admission through Nov. 13. Admission for up to for additional guests can be purchased at 50% off. Tickets can be purchased on-site at the complex’s will call.

Orlando Science Center

Veterans can get free admission to the museum through Nov. 20 and their family can receive 50% off.
