ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando has revealed when its Mardi Gras celebration will return next year.

Universal’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval, will run daily from Feb. 4 through April 16, the resort announced Tuesday.

Food will be an integral part of the celebration — as it has for the past couple of years since Universal added the “International Flavors of Carnaval” tagline to the event. In addition to New Orleans-style dishes, there will be cuisine inspired by Carnaval celebrations from Brazil, Belgium and beyond.

The parade will return and feature colorful floats. Visitors will be able to catch beads from the floats as the make their way down the parade route.

And on select nights, live concerts by some of the top names in music will be featured. The concert lineup has not yet been released.

Universal said it will announce more Mardi Gras details — including the selection of food and beverages and the parade theme — “soon.”
