DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona Lagoon is offering free admission to all active and retired military members on Memorial Day.

  • The offer is available on Memorial Day
  • Military family members can get $3 off admission

Members of the military can free access to the water park's waterslides and attractions from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 27.

A valid military ID is required to get free admission.

Military family members can also get $3 off waterpark admission.

"This is a way for us to give back to active-duty military members and veterans and provide them with a fun way to spend Memorial Day," Daytona Lagoon general manager Tyler Currie said in a statement. "We want to make it easy for them to relax, beat the heat and enjoy themselves at Daytona Lagoon.

Daytona Lagoon recently opened two new thrill slides—Kraken's Revenge, a 50 feet tall mat racer; and Shaka Halfpipe, which sends riders off a 50-foot tower into a tube that swings like a pendulum.
