Syracuse police are investigating two shootings that happened less than 12 hours apart.

The first one happened on Tallman Street around 5 p.m. Saturday. Police say a 40-year-old man was shot in the leg.

Officers were then called to a shooting on Temple Place at 3 a.m. Sunday. The 34-year-old victim told police he was shot in the abdomen after getting into a fight with some other men.

Both men are expected to survive and no arrests have been made.
