A Syracuse man is injured following a shooting on the city's northside. 

Officers responded to the 100 block of Josephine Street around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.  The victim told police he was involved in an altercation with an unknown black man while on the 800 block of Park Street.

The suspect reportedly pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the leg. 

The victim fled to Josephine Street to seek help. He's being treated at a local hospital for his injuries, which are considered to be non-life threatening.
