A Syracuse man has died from his injuries after being hit by a van in the town of Clay.
Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene on Henry Clay Boulevard near Norstar Boulevard around 5:30 a.m. Monday.
Investigators say 28-year-old Thomas Rizzo was walking on the inside northbound lane when we was hit.
The operator of the van, 32-year-old James Close, was making a delivery to a nearby business at the time. The driver was not hurt as is cooperating with deputies.
No charges have been filed.
The road is back open after being closed for several hours.
