Protests were coordinated across the country Thursday in support of protecting Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.

In Syracuse, the protest was called β€œNo One is Above the Law.”

β€œWe see our country in danger we see our democracy fundamentally in danger,” said Jonnah Minkoff-Zern, campaign director of Public Citizen.

The message every protester outside the James M. Hanley Federal Building was trying to convey?

β€œ[Our nation] is under attack when Trump attacks the media, it's under attack when Trump attacks our ability to know what happened in the elections,” said Minkoff-Zern.

The new interim AG, Matthew Whitaker, was previously an outspoken critic of the investigation.
