About 80 students ranging from grades 1 through 12  are enrolled for the four day program.

The camp allows kids with various football skill levels to get training from industry coaches and NFL running back Brian Leonard.

Leonard grew up not to far from Potsdam, in Gouvernor. He was the star player at Gouvernor High school and then eventually went on to Rutgers University and then the NFL St. Louis Rams team. Leonard brings this camp to Potsdam as a way to give back to his community, being that there aren't any other football camps in the area.

"This camp is really to get better at football," said Leonard. "On and off the field. And to become better people, become better football players."

The camp will continue throughout the weekend, wrapping up on Sunday.
