The recently-completed New York State Fair drew more than 860,000 attendees, but attendance was down from last year.

Figures provided by fair officials showed the 2024 fair drew 868,745 people, down from 932,699 a year ago. The highest single day of attendance was Sunday, Sept. 1, when 108,390 people walked the fairgrounds. That's a higher single-day attendance than any day in 2023.
