Two teenagers were shot Wednesday in Syracuse, though neither injury is considered to be life-threatening.

Syracuse Police received a call Wednesday afternoon around 12:30 p.m. regarding a shooting, and found a 17-year-old male shot in the abdomen in the area of Park and Turtle streets. Officers were then told a second victim was found in the 300 block of Bear Street, and found a 16-year-old male shot in the abdomen.

Both were taken to Upstate University Hospital. An SPD investigation found that both were walking along North Salina Street when they were shot, and then split up after being hit to seek medical attention.

The suspect is identified by police as possibly a male in a red hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information should call Syracuse Police at 315-442-5222.
