A standoff in Syracuse forced people from their homes at midnight Tuesday.

Police were called to the Trinity Park West Apartment complex when a man was spotted waving a gun out a window.

About 30 residents from the apartment were evacuated, many of them placed on a Centro bus while police brought in a SWAT team to handle the standoff situation.

Around 6 a.m., tear gas was deployed inside the apartments, and two suspects came out.

No one was injured and both men are in custody, with charges pending.
