Tonight, temperatures will continue to fall down into the 30s. Scattered precipitation will linger around the area. Some spots across the S. Tier, especially in the areas of higher elevation, could see a few wet snowflakes mixing in. Outside of that, expect a bit of patchy fog along the Lake Ontario shoreline.

It will remain windy on Saturday but skies will clear out and temperatures will try and work their way toward 50. It’s not until late Saturday into Sunday morning that a better window of opportunity presents itself to develop wet snow. At it’s worst, 2-4” of snow could accumulate in the higher hilltops south of the metro. Areas further north will see a coating or a dusting on the ground. After a flashback to winter, Sunday afternoon conditions will dry out again with highs climbing back into the 40s. Winds will also settle, taking the bite out of the air.

Monday, highs will be closer to 50 with a high pressure supplying plenty of sun to the region. Most of Tuesday will be dry but cool as well. It’s not again until Wednesday & Thursday that the chance for rain returns to the mix. By midweek, thankfully highs will be closer to 60.
