Remaining blustery Wednesday with scattered snow showers and intervals of sun. Highs will be in the 30s, but temps will tumble into the upper teens and low 20s afternoon.

Thursday looks quiet and cold with some sun and highs in the mid and upper 20s. The next low will move through the region late Thursday night into Friday morning with widespread light snow. This will lead to a slower than normal Friday morning commute though snowfall amounts don’t look all that high with a coating to an inch north, and 2 to 4 inches south.

Friday afternoon through Saturday morning then look quiet.

A larger, more potent winter storm still looks likely developing later Saturday afternoon and continuing into Sunday morning. Driving conditions will deteriorate Saturday evening with the bulk of the widespread snow falling before sun up on Sunday. Patchy lake snow will continue on Sunday with highs around and just above 10.
