Tonight will be variably cloudy and cold with lows in the single digits and low teens. Some light flurries or snow showers are expected near Lake Ontario again tonight and into Sunday morning, otherwise, Sunday will feature partly to mostly sunny skies and highs in the low and mid 20s.

Temperatures will improve a bit early next week with highs in the 20s to near 30 on Monday and then well into the 30s for Tuesday. Both days look mostly quiet with some sunshine.

An arctic cold front looks to arrive later Tuesday night and into Wednesday with a few snow showers and gusty breezes. Temperatures on Wednesday will also fall sharply behind this front with much of Wednesday afternoon spent, perhaps, in the teens. Some scattered lake snow is also expected behind this front, but it still doesn’t look like a good setup for much of that. Thursday then looks quiet and cold with highs around 20.

The next frontal system looks to arrive on Friday boosting temps into the 30s but also setting off a few snow showers. Colder air will likely settle back in for the start of next weekend.
