Partly cloudy, quiet and cold tonight with partly cloudy skies and lows from the mid teens to low 20s. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with temps improving into the low and mid 30s.

A cold front will cross the region Wednesday with gusty breezes and scattered snow showers. Temps will likely peak in the 30s to perhaps even around 40, but will fall sharply after noon.

Thursday then looks quiet with some sun and cold highs in the 20s. A few snow showers look likely Thursday night into early Friday morning while most of Friday looks quiet.

The next low looks to arrive Saturday pm with widespread accumulating snow and deteriorating driving conditions. Some lingering lake effect then looks likely for Sunday with bitterly cold highs in the teens.
