Rochester native and Siena freshman basketball standout Jalen Pickett was named first team All-MAAC on Monday.

Pickett is just the second freshman in league history to earn that recognition.

The Aquinas grad was also named to the all-rookie tea, the only unaminous selection on that team.

Pickett is averaging nearly 16 points per contest — including a 46 point game against Quinnipiac.

Pickett and the Saints open the MAAC tournament this weekend.
