Native to Buffalo, but hailing from Orchard Park, Jim has lived in the Rochester area for more than 30 years. Believe it or not, Jim is now on his second go-round with Spectrum News team. After beginning his news career with Spectrum News in 1990, he has now happily made his return after 21 years.

Jim’s favorite thing about his job are the people he meets that inspire him to tell their stories. As a reporter, Jim embraces the opportunity to help the community better understand the place where they live. Jim is a decorated reporter - among his many awards, he has won an Emmy, an Edward Murrow, and a NYS Broadcasters Award.

Jim’s favorite thing to do in Rochester is to go to any of the lakes around the area. He loves to spend time with Sarah, his wife of 30 years and their three daughters, Katie, Clare, and Caroline. You can find Jim tailgating in the neighborhood where he grew up.

You can email Jim and follow him on Twitter.
