ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The New York State Police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run near Rochester General Hospital.
They say a woman was struck by an SUV on the Route 104 Service Road just before 10 p.m. on Sunday. Investigators say the woman was found alive, lying in the road, by an ambulance leaving the hospital.
The woman was taken to RGH where she later died of her injuries. Her name has not yet been released.
The vehicle troopers are looking for is described as a light-colored SUV.
State police are asking anyone with information to call them at 585-398-4100.
