ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police Chief Cynthia Herriott-Sullivan held a virtual meeting to discuss the 90-day plan to curb violence in the city as well as announce her command staff.
That command staff includes Andre Anderson as executive deputy chief, Gabriel Person as operations deputy chief, and Thomas Shaw as administration deputy chief.
The 90-day plan, which was first detailed a few weeks ago, consists of eight goals.
Those range from identifying where resources need to be targeted, to reviewing policies and procedures.
Chief Herriott-Sullivan says the department will be as transparent as possible during the process.
"We'll have periodic checks so keep an eye out for our Twitter accounts, our Facebook accounts, and that will be a way we will give you brief snapshot updates to what's going on," Chief Herriott-Sullivan said.
