Firefighers say an overnight fire that forced two people out of their home was arson.

It started around 1 a.m. in a duplex home on Weaver Street.

Officials say flames spread to the house next door but were put out before causing any damage inside the home.

The home where the fire was set has extensive damage and is not livable at this time.

In addition to the flames, firefighters say downed power lines in the backyard created a dangerous situation for them.

No one was hurt in the fire and the Red Cross is assisting the two occupants of the home.

At this time, no arrests have been made in the case.
