Students and staff at Brockport High School have been cleared to return to the building following what was considered to be a possible bomb threat on Friday.

According to its communications department, the district implemented its emergency protocol and evacuated the building as a precaution.

According to members of law enforcement there was no actual threat to the high school.

The district did not say where the possible bomb threat came from.

Gates Chili High School was also evacuated on Friday because of a possible bomb threat. Students were dismissed early and did not return.
