A Monroe County sheriff's deputy who stopped to check out a parked RV in Henrietta late Thursday night discovered two fugitives.

The sheriff's office says the deputy came upon an RV parked in a lot off Clay Road near Jefferson shortly after 11 p.m. and tracked the vehicle until a little after 4 a.m. Friday.

Inside, police found two people wanted by the U.S. Marshal's Office.

The suspects have been identified as Blane Barksdale, 55, and Susan Barksdale, 58, who were wanted by the Tuscon, Arizona Police Department on charges of first-degree murder, burglary, arson of an occupied structure, and criminal damage.

Both suspects were arraigned in Henrietta Town Court and booked in the Monroe County Jail where they will be held until they are extradited to Arizona.

"This is another example of the excellent cooperation between local law enforcement and our federal partners," said Monroe County Undersheriff Korey Brown and U.S. Marshal Charles Salina in a press release Friday. "Two dangerous, violent individuals were taken off the streets and will face justice."

According to police in Tuscon, Blane and Susan Barksdale are accused in the murder of 72-year-old Frank Bligh.
