ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Academy Charter School is currently having its first season of girl’s flag football this semester.

The history-making program is funded by the Buffalo Bills, New York Giants and New York Jets.

Our Brianna Hamblin is out where the Rochester Academy Charter School team practices for their games, Baderow Park South, and is joined by players Shyera Scott and Angel Hamilton, both seniors, to discuss what it feels like to be a part of the first ever team in the program’s history, how it has been going thus far and what they feel like they are learning when they are out on the field.

You can catch them playing this Saturday against Eastridge.
