  • Wendy Thomas was there, and one of his sons is one of the chefs

  • "No matter what life throws at you, your mom will always be there for you,” said Thomas

Wendy Thomas didn't just come out for drinks.

"I'm here with my one son, Max, and my other son, Jake, is one of the chefs." said Thomas.

She got the eggs benedict and she wouldn't have to wait too long to see the chef, Jake Eismann, who made the order.

Eismann immediately hugged his mom upon seeing her.

"I'm happy that I got to cook for her," said Eismann. "I know eggs benedict is just a huge thing and I know a lot of moms like that, so I put that together."

Thomas says they had been cooking together since he was 3 years old.

"One of most rewarding aspects of having Jake enjoy cooking is that he will often text me and ask me my opinion on different ideas he has,” said Eismann. “It’s just wonderful to know that I have helped foster that in him."

Eismann added the inspiration to cook all began with baking Christmas cookies.

"I took everything that she has taught me and I've just put it together,” Eismann explained. “As a kid, I didn't really enjoy it. I would make cookies with her and stuff but in high school, I really started to enjoy and she helped me through it and I have all of her recipes."

This Mother's Day, Thomas wants Jake and her son, Max, to recognize that there is only thing they need to know.

"No matter what life throws at you, your mom will always be there for you,” said Thomas.
