The town of Gates is giving out 500 boxes of free food Sunday with the help of local non-profits.
The food giveaway will be held at the Gates Town Hall from noon to 3 p.m., or until supplies run out.
Town officials say the food boxes will have fresh vegetables, meat and dairy products in them. There is a limit of one box of food per family.
The drive-thru event is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
