Monroe County's health department is reporting another near record number of positive COVID-19 cases.

Three-hundred-and-sixty-six more cases were identified since Sunday. The majority of those cases are people in their 30s and younger.

Two new deaths were also reported, bringing the total for the county to 315.

A record number of hospitalizations was also reported across the Finger Lakes region, as 289 people are currently in the hospital, with 53 of them in the ICU.

The county’s positivity rate is 3.49%. At the state level, the positivity rate is 3.08%.

Hospitalizations in New York climbed again to surpass 2,700.

The governor also reported another 33 deaths related to COVID-19.
