The 19th Ward Community Association took their art and creativity to the streets for the annual Chalk Fest this weekend.

Several areas were designated as "Chalk Spots," where people turned driveways and sidewalks into works of art.

The group had to make different plans from the usual Porch Fest it celebrated around this time.

"With COVID, we kind of had to pivot and think of something else that would be a little more safe at a social distance. So we thought of the Chalk Fest idea," Cecelia Hencke of the 19th Ward Community Association said.

You can view all of the chalk art before any rain comes later this week.
