The Washington County Sheriff's office is continuing to investigate a fatal crash on State Route 40 that left three others injured.

Authorities say a car traveling north struck a pick-up truck that was in a parking lot looking to enter the roadway near the Auction Barn Diner. The driver of the pick-up, 67-year-old Robert Humiston, was killed in the crash.

Three passengers in the truck were transported to local hospitals. Two of them were transferred to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries.
