A Rochester woman is dead and her sister badly injured after a car accident in South Carolina this weekend.

“She’s a beautiful person, a heart of gold," Sarah Snow said. “(She was) always there for you when you needed it.”

Snow says her sister Felicia was all about family.

“She always wanted to be around family, that’s all she ever talked about,” Snow said. “I just want my family together. I want to be around my family.”

Felicia and their sister Stephanie were traveling from South Carolina back to Rochester Saturday morning when their car got a flat tire. They were standing behind a tow truck when a truck ran off the left side of the road and hit them.

Felicia was killed, and Stephanie is currently still in the hospital.

“I never saw it coming. I never thought this was going to happen,” Snow said.

The sisters were on their way back from their aunt’s funeral.

Felicia and Stephanie lived together, and both worked in sales. Felicia didn’t have any children of her own, but she was a loving aunt to Stephanie’s four.

It’s a large family of 11 siblings, and the loss is hard. But they’re all praying for Stephanie’s recovery.

“I cannot take another sister being gone, I really hope she pulls through,” Snow said.

Felicia’s body will be brought back to Rochester Friday.

There will be a wake for her Wednesday at the St. Paul Holiness Church from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Her funeral is the next day at 11 a.m., at the same church.

Her family has set up a GoFundMe to help cover the expenses of bringing Felicia and Stephanie home.
