Assemblyman Harry Bronson is seeking re-election in 2020.

Bronson made the announcement Sunday while standing alongside dozens of labor workers and community members. He has held the 138th district seat, which portions of the city, Henrietta and Chili, since 2010.

Bronson said he plans to continue fighting for equality.

“The current climate we have in Washington is broken and really is attacking segments of our communities and I think that being in the New York state assembly I can continue to work for full equality for everybody no matter who they are," he said. 

Monroe County Executive-elect Adam Bello, Congressman Joe Morelle and Rochester Area Labor Federation President Dan Maloney stood with Bronson at the campaign announcement event.
