The chief financial officer for the Rochester City School District has handed in his resignation.
The district confirmed that the superintendent has accepted the resignation of Everton Sewell, the district’s top financial officer amid a $30 million budget shortfall for the district.
On Tuesday night, the Rochester Board of Education is meeting to discuss the budget shortfall. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
