A security breach has impacted the Victor School District, the third one in the area to suffer a breach in recent memory.
The district said a hack to the third-party Pearson Education AIMSweb platform has exposed the names and birthdays of nearly 4,000 current and past students.
District officials said they will be mailing letters to those affected.
It will not be using the system in the coming school year.
Brockport and West Irondequoit Central Schools were also impacted by the breach.
