An 11-year-old boy is safe after going missing Sunday night.

Jacalvionne Boyd, also known as Calvie, went missing around 10 p.m. Sunday. Rochester police said the young boy, who is autistic, slipped out of his family home on Avenue D while relatives were sleeping.

Calvie traveled about seven miles overnight and was found huddled in the corner by the front of a catering business in Chili.

Effortlessly Healthy employee Kristy Wisnosk says he was frightened, cold and barefoot.

“I’m a mom, so mom instinct kicked in. We called 911 right away. We brought him inside to sit, got him food, hot chocolate, rubbed his back and got him a jacket. He was really scared.”

According to police, he has a history of running away but was an "extenuating missing person" due to the circumstances.
