The passenger removed from an American Airlines flight earlier this week appeared in court Friday.
Benjamin Cutulle spoke to Spectrum News, and apologized to everyone on the flight.
Flanked by family and friends, the 29-year-old was in city court Friday morning.
He is charged in connection with an incident that happened onboard American Airlines Flight 5174 from Charlotte.
The Sheriff's Office says the crew reported an unruly passenger. Cutulle was restrained and removed from the plane at Greater Rochester International Airport.
He pleaded not guilty to second-degree harassment.
