Family and friends gathered at Bullard Park on Friday to remember an Albion teen whose life was cut short.

Brennan Moody, 17, was killed and three others were hospitalized following the crash on Eagle Harbor Road in Albion.

"I don't know why he had to be the one not to make it through this," said Moody's grandmother Patricia Farone. "He had so many plans. He had a license now, he could get around... There was so much I wanted... I could be spending more time with him."

The Albion Central School District says it is planning a remembrance ceremony for the students involved in a deadly crash earlier this week.

Two of the students involved have since been released from the hospital. However, Sean Weis remains hospitalized with serious injuries.

His sister Chloe Weis said Sean had neck surgery on Friday. He is able to talk but has a breathing and feeding tube. She says he suffered a broken neck, fractured his skull, brain bleed, lacerated kidney, and broken shoulder in the crash. He also needed 41 staples for a large cut on his head.

The district says it will wait for Sean to be released from the hospital before the ceremony takes place. If he is not able to attend graduation next Friday, school officials will deliver his diploma in person.
