The KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival is encouraging people to "leap a little" this fall.

More than 550 performances and events— many of which are free—will go on at this year's 12-day festival.

The Spiegeltent and garden will pop up once again at the corner of E. Main and Gibbs Streets. Inside the tent, you'll find silent disco, a Kids Day and a pedestrian drive-in with special movie showings. Sing-along sensation MASSAOKE, which made its U.S. debut last year, will also cross the pond again for two free shows.

Mike Birbiglia is the comedy headliner.

The festival will honor Hispanic Heritage Month this year by partnering with the Puerto Rican Festival on Sunday, September 15.

Festival Producer Erica Fee says the community support has helped its growth throughout the years.

"It's huge for the Rochester community — for a city of our size to support a performing arts festival of this size and it's now the largest multi-arts festival in the state of New York," Fee said.

The event runs September 10-21. Tickets are now on sale.
