A former employee at Rochester Institute of Technology has filed civil suit against the university and her former boss, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation.

Lisa Ireland reported to Associate Vice President Kim Slusser in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.

In court paperwork, she alleges that Slusser made repeated sexual comments about Lisa's body as well as her husband. Ireland also alleges that Slusser groped her husband at an RIT sponsored event.

Ireland says she filed a complaint with Human Resources, but her husband was not interviewed. Two months later she was allegedly told by someone in HR to "just get back to normal."

Ireland states she was demoted nine months after she took the matter further to the state's Division of Human Rights.

An RIT spokesperson said they could not comment on pending litigation.
