A couple of capital improvement projects in area school districts were approved Tuesday night.

Residents in Webster approved a nearly $70 million project with nearly 1,600 residents voting yes and 763 voting no.

New media centers at several buildings are on the way, as well as improved playing fields at both high schools.

In the Churchville-Chili district, residents approved a near $4 million project.

New playgrounds and upgrades at three district buildings are part of the project.
