GREECE N.Y. – Kids in the town of Greece are learning the importance of giving back.

Every Thursday, all summer long, on English Station Road, a group of kids operate a lemonade stand, raising money for the Golisano Children's Hospital.

The organizer, Landen O'Meal, 9, said he wants to ensure the kids in the hospital have the resources they need. He also says the idea of the fundraiser sprouts from a YouTube video.

“This girl had a problem and she was raising money for this hospital down in Texas.”

Landon says they’ve already exceeded their goal, raising over $160 so far.
