ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Mayor Lovely Warren (D) and County Clerk Adam Bello (D) announced plans to bring a permanent DMV location to downtown.

It will be the first time the city has had a full time DMV in 15 years.

It'll be located at 200 East Main street, near the city's Parking Violations Bureau and Traffic Violations Agency.

Before construction can begin, a lease agreement must be approved by city council at its next meeting on August 21st.

The project is being funded through a state grant.
