GENESEO, N.Y. -- The daughter of a New York State police major has been found guilty of manslaughter in connection with the stabbing death of her boyfriend in 2016.

Police say Danielle Allen fatally stabbed Marcus Postell in the chest in November of 2016 at her apartment in the Town of York.

Allen is the daughter of New York State Police major Rick Allen. She is facing a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and will be sentenced in September.

She is currently being held without bail
