ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The snow is here once again. Local officials are urging commuters to budget more time for their commute into work Monday morning.

This spring snowstorm dumped anywhere from 2 to 8 inches of snow.

Slick and snow-covered roads created a slow and messy commute around Rochester this morning.

Spring break is over that mean schools back in session and more vehicles are out on the road.

Most anyone from Rochester knows don't put away the snowbrush or the winter hat just yet.

"I am just mystified!" Rochester resident Alma Zarate-Torres said. "I am wondering what happened? It is almost untraditional to put away your winter things because this is what happens in April!"

Spring snow in Rochester is not all that unusual, we average about 4 inches of total snowfall in April.

Temperatures will hover around 30, but it's looking a little better as the week goes on.
