ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Rochester's Badge of Honor Association now has a new website to help the community connect with and support the organization.

BOHA volunteers help raise money for families of fallen officers and support officers involved in serious incidents while on duty. The non-profit's new website, with help from Brandmint, has more information about the mission and includes an online store of BOHA merchandise. The agency is hoping social media will help get the word out about what they do.

"It is just important that we build those bridges not just with the police officers but with community groups and businesses to let them know what we do. We know the police officers are ultimately out here to protect people, but having those partnerships is how BOHA is going to grow," said Justin Collins, BOHA president.

BOHA's efforts reach law enforcement across 24 counties in Western and Central New York.
